TALE KOI - CLIMBING FISH RECIPE OF BANGLADESH


This recipe is taken from my grandmother, belonged to Bangladesh. This dish is served with hot rice and a very popular dish in Bengali lunch.

Given below, the detailed process :-

INGREDIENT

Climbing fish 4
Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Ginger paste 1 tbsp
Onion juice ½ cup
Red chili paste 1 tbsp
Tomato puree or tomato juice 1 cup
Mustard oil 1 cup
Few green chilies
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder 1 tsp

PROCESS

Clean the fish properly, rub salt and turmeric powder on the fish
Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the fishes
Remove the fishes from the pan and add ginger & garlic paste in the remaining oil
Add red chili paste and fry, add salt and turmeric powder
Add onion juice and tomato juice
Add fish and cook for 10 minutes, add green chilies for garnishing
