PESHAWARI CHICKEN - Spicy chicken curry recipe

It is a creamy dish with some Indian spices.

Boneless chicken pieces 500 gm
Fresh cream 1 cup
Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
Ginger paste 2 tbsp
Roasted jeera (cumin) powder ½ tsp
Mango powder ½ tsp
Tandoori powder 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Melted butter 2 tbsp


Marinate chicken with salt and cream for 3 hours
Heat butter in a pan, add ginger paste and fry
In a bowl, add chilli, mango, jeera and tandoori powder with little water
Add the mixture and cook for few minutes
Add chicken with marinating cream
Cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes
Add lemon juice and serve with roti or nun
