COCONUT PARANTHA


This is a very healthy preparation, enriched with goodness of coconut and panner. It will make your breakfast tasty and healthy too. There are an Unique Combination of Fatty Acids in coconut and its oil. It has a powerful medicinal properties and also help to provide you a good brain function.

INGREDIENT

Atta (wheat flour) 3 cups
Carom seeds (ajwain) 1 tsp
Coconut grated 1 cup
Panner or tofu grated ½ cup
Green chilli chopped 1 tsp
Ginger chopped 1tsp
Coriander leaves chopped ½ cup
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Wheat sesame roasted 1 tbsp
Nutmeg powder ½ tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil or butter for paratha

PROCESS

Mix salt and 1 tsp oil/butter and required amount of water with atta and make a fine dough
Heat 1 tbsp oil/butter in a pan and add ginger, coconut and panner, mix well
Add salt, chilli, carom seeds and lemon juice
Add coriander leaves, sesame and nutmeg powder, mix very well and cook for 5 minutes in high flame
Make 10 balls of dough and roll out each
Place the stuffing in the center and join the all ages of the roll and again give the shape of ball by your palm, you can rub oil on your palm also
Again roll out the paratha and toast the paratha, using 1 tbsp oil or butter
Serve with your favorite curry
