HOW TO MAKE MEXICAN TOSTADAS RECIPE


It is a famous Maxican snack; you can enjoy the authentic taste of Maxico by this dish.

INGREDIENT

White flour 2 cups
Corn flour 1 cup
refine oil 3 tbsp
Salt
Oil for deep frying

INGREDIENT FOR FILLING

Bacon strips 2 cups
Finely chopped ginger 1 tbsp
Cajun spice 1 tbsp
Cheddar cheese grated 1 cup
Yellow capsicum chopped 1 cup
Readymade salsa 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tbsp

PROCESS

Mix white flour with corn flour and salt and oil
Add little amount of water to make a smooth and elastic dough
Cover the dough with clean and wet cotton cloth for 20 minutes
Make 10 equal balls and roll out them about 8 diameter surface
Prick each tortilla with fork and deep fry
Place on a paper towel to drain out extra oil ( you can store toastadas in an airtight container for 5/6 days)
To make filling, heat oil, add ginger and capsicum, stir fry
Add bacon and salt, Cajun spice and salsa
Add cheese, mix well
To serve, place toastadas and keep bacon filling on each toastada
Serve with salsa
