NAVRATAN MURG


INGREDIENT

Chicken 500 gm (cut into pieces)
Sour curd beaten 1 cup
Ghee ½ cup
Onion paste 1 cup
Ginger paste 2 tbsp
Red chilli paste 1 tsp
Cream ½ cup
Kewra water (essence) 1 tbsp

INGREDIENT FOR 9 NUTS

Pistachio (pista) 7/8
Almond 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts 7/8
Walnut halves 5
Pine nut 5
Water melon seeds 1 tsp
Melon seeds 1 tsp
Raisins 1 tsp and Sunflower seeds 1 tsp

PROCESS

Sock Pistachio and Almond in water and remove the skin
Make a fine paste of all nuts
Keep some nuts for garnishing
Marinate chicken with curd and salt for 4 hours
Heat ghee, add onion, ginger and red chilli paste
Stir well and sauté
Add chicken with marinated
Cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes
Add nut paste and mix well
Add cream and kewra water (essence)
Garnish with nuts
